Kichcha Sudeep REACTS To Rashmika Mandanna Getting TROLLED For Not Watching Kantara: 'There Will Be Eggs, Tomatoes And Stones Coming At You’
South actor Kichcha Sudeep has expressed his views on Rashmika Mandanna receiving severe criticism for not watching Rishab Shetty's Kantara. In a recent interview, the actor stated that being a public figure they should learn to face and deal with it because if there will be garlands, there will also be eggs, tomatoes, and stones coming at celebrities. For the unversed, the Pushpa actress got brutally trolled after she said that she hadn't watched Kantara.

Speaking with Indiaglitz Telugu, the Vikrant Rona actor said, “It is what it is. How can you change the world? If you go 15-20 years back, there were news channels interviewing us and all that was pretty new at the time. But if you go to Dr Rajkumar sir’s time, nothing was there except Doordarshan and papers. So, how can you say they were better because now suddenly media is there? It’s wrong (to say that) because of media news everything is going wrong. We should learn to handle it. We should always move on. And once you’re a public figure, there will always be garlands; there will always be eggs, tomatoes and stones also coming at you.” ALSO READ: Kantara Sent For Oscar 2023 Nomination; Rishab Shetty Starrer Submits Application For Academy Awards Consideration, Makers Confirm Kantara 2

He added one should know how to deal with it and should come out stronger. “When we know that this is going to happen, I think we will all be more polished in what we talk, how we speak or what we are supposed to say. You want to have an account on Facebook and Twitter and following of 2 or 10 million but you don’t want this negative thing? Really?,” Sudeep further explained.

In December last year at an event in Hyderabad, Rashmika spoke about getting trolled for not watching Kantara and said she has only love for those who attacked her on social media. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, ‘Kantara’ was released on 30 September 2022 and emerged as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, as well as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022.
